Design research has its own methods as well as similarities and differences with other disciplines, and at the same time it feeds on multidisciplinary aspects, and with this, it finds its own specificity and the definition of its object of study.
Research labs
The Division of Sciences and Arts for Design of the Azcapotzalco campus has 19 labs and workshops dedicated to the study of design, the observation of phenomena that demonstrate a hypothesis or generate new questions. In these spaces research projects of the different research areas and groups are carried out. They are also used in collaborative activities between undergraduate and graduate teachers and their students.
